Expectations of candidates represented by DPI Recruiting

Gary Altstadt, president of DPI Recruiting, identifies the “key ingredient” of a successful search is professional and effective communication between the search firm, candidate and client. 

DPI Recruiting works with candidates who are motivated and desire to advance their career. We always communicate regularly with our candidates and expect the same in return. If we request information from you, we expect to receive that information in a reasonable period of time.  

After a client interview, we request that you call our office as soon as possible to give us feedback on the interview.  

We don’t like surprises. If you had a problem with a former employer, tell us about it. We’ll know how to deal with it. We strive to please our candidates and our clients. Thus, we expect honesty from you throughout the time we work with you.  

Turning down a client’s offer to accept a counter offer from your current employer creates a negative image for the candidate and DPI Recruiting. Our experience has proven that employees who accept a counter offer from a current employer, most likely will change jobs within one year. DPI Recruiting will treat you as a professional at all times. We expect the same in return.

Expectations for our clients  

When DPI Recruiting takes on a job search for a client, we devote a significant amount of time to find quality candidates for that position. Our clients are well informed as to the status and progress of the search effort. 

We understand the value of our client’s time and strive to gather necessary information all at one time. Occasionally, during the search effort, we may request additional information. It is imperative that you respond within a reasonable period of time. DPI Recruiting conducts many job searches during the course of a year. If a client is slow to respond (or fails to respond) to inquiries for information, it becomes necessary to move onto other search assignments. Our goal is to help all clients fill their IT openings with quality candidates. We can’t do that without your help. 

In return, we will commit our resources to your search effort. Our clients can expect us to provide true value in every search.
